How we collect, use, and protect your data on Flightplan.

What data we collect

When you create an account: your name, email address, and academy. When you use the journey planner: your current role, desired destination, qualifications, and experience. This data is stored securely in our database.

How we use your data

To generate your personalised boarding pass.
To allow you to save and retrieve your boarding passes.
To enable Flight Agents to provide you with tailored career advice and recommendations.

We do not share your personal data with third parties outside of Leigh Academies Trust.

Data storage and security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a cloud database platform with encryption at rest and in transit. Access is controlled through row-level security policies. Only you and authorised Flight Agents can view your boarding passes and profile.

Your rights

You can view, update, or delete your profile and boarding passes at any time from your My Flightplan dashboard. To request complete deletion of your account, contact us at flightplan@leighacademiestrust.org.uk. This policy is governed by UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Cookies

Flightplan uses essential cookies for authentication (keeping you logged in). We use the Superchat widget for live support which may set its own cookies. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
